Portlandia Club Luncheon September 2017

Women Making a Difference

We will hear from a panel of local women who serve in elected office. What's it like to run for office? How does being a woman in office make a difference? And what are some major issues facing our state and community right now? Hear all about it from those who know best, and get to know some local leaders right here in our community.

Our panel moderator is the Development Director for the Oregon League of Conservation Voters, Christy Splitt. Panelists include: Oregon Senate Majority Leader Ginny Burdick, Multnomah County Commissioner Jessica Vega Pederson, Beaverton City Councillor Lacey Beaty and David Douglas School Board member Ana del Rocio.  Also in attendance will be Emerge Oregon Executive Director Jillian Schoene to share some information on that program.
