Rashelle Chase is a mama, activist, and anti-racist early childhood educator from Portland, Oregon.

She has a BA in Political Studies and Black Studies from Pitzer College and a MS in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Early Childhood Education from Portland State University.

Rashelle comes from a strong lineage of activist educators and is passionate about changing the world by transforming systems – particularly those that impact children and families – in the service of an equitable, just, and peaceful future.

Rashelle is a board member of Equitable Giving Circle and a founding member of Mxm Bloc, both of which are Black-led mutual aid movements in service of BIPOC communities. Rashelle’s work includes the movement for Black lives, disability rights advocacy, and educational equity.
