Project Lemonade is a nonprofit organization founded in 2013 with a mission to inspire self-esteem in Oregon's school-aged foster youth.  Our mission provides resources and basic needs currently lacking in our foster care system.  Our work centers around three programs including a year-round Free Shopping Store providing clothing, shoes, and backpacks, a year-round Paid Internship Program hiring up to 4 foster youth every three months for paid internships providing job skills training; and a WISH Program (What Inspires a Students Heart) providing mini-grants to fund educational and enrichment opportunities that help foster youth thrive including tutoring, laptops, camps, music and art classes, educational resources and sports equipment.  Since 2012, we have supported more than 16,000 foster youth, and we host more than 750 volunteers annually and receive in-kind and financial support from more than 100 businesses and community organizations.
